Your Experience
Everything you need to know before your session.
From the moment you reach out, my goal is simple: make this feel easy.
Whether you're expecting your first baby or chasing your fourth toddler around the studio, you don't have to know how to pose, what to wear, or how to make everything go perfectly. That's my job.
Since 2010, I've photographed thousands of families across Southern California, Utah, and beyond. Every session is fully guided from start to finish so you can simply slow down and enjoy this season with the people you love most.
Where are your studios?

Wardrobe
What should we wear?
Soft, timeless clothing always photographs beautifully.
Flowing dresses, natural fabrics, cozy sweaters, neutral colors and simple textures help create artwork that feels timeless years from now.
A curated client wardrobe is available for mothers, along with wraps, blankets and carefully selected newborn pieces for your baby.
If you'd like a fully styled glam look, professional hair and makeup can be added to your session for $250. (I think $250 positions it a little more premium than $200.) If you choose not to add it, don't worry. I always have the little things on hand like curling tools, brushes, hairspray, dry shampoo, face mist, and lip products so we can freshen you up before we start.
You don't have to know what you're doing.
Seriously.
Almost every mom tells me,
"We're awkward in photos."
Or,
"My husband hates taking pictures."
Or,
"My kids never cooperate."
I've heard it all.
The beautiful images you see throughout my portfolio aren't because those families are professional models. They're everyday families just like yours.
My job is to guide you through every pose, every interaction, every tiny adjustment of light and movement. You never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to stand.
I'll take care of all of that.
When should I book?
Maternity
Most maternity sessions take place between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you're still feeling comfortable enough to move.
Newborn
The earlier, the better.
Once you know you're expecting, we'll reserve your due date on the calendar.
After your baby arrives, you'll simply send me a quick message, and we'll choose the perfect day within those first few weeks.
No stressing over exact dates before your baby is even here.
Can my partner and kids come?
Absolutely.
Honestly, I encourage it.
Your partner, children and siblings are always welcome during your session.
If bringing grandma or your nanny helps everyone relax, they're welcome too.
The goal isn't just beautiful portraits of your baby.
It's documenting your family exactly as you are in this season.
Do you travel?
Yes.
Although my home studios are in Southern California and Utah, I continue to photograph families throughout the United States and beyond.
If you've fallen in love with my work but aren't local, reach out.
I've traveled for sessions everywhere from private homes to destination locations, and I'd love to hear what you're envisioning.
In-home sessions
Yes.
Many families choose the studio because the light is consistent year-round and the aesthetic matches the timeless style you see throughout my portfolio.
That said, I also love photographing families in their homes.
Every home is different, so lighting and space can vary, but if an in-home session feels most meaningful for your family, we'll absolutely create something beautiful together.
How should we prepare?
Don't overthink it.
I'll send you a simple preparation guide before your session with everything you need to know.
For maternity sessions, think soft fabrics that move beautifully.
For newborn sessions, keep your morning calm and simple.
Feed your baby, take a deep breath, and leave the rest to me.
The less stressed you feel walking through the door, the better the experience will be.
How did you get started?
I became a mom in 2009.
Like most new parents, I couldn't stop taking pictures of my babies.
What started as photographing my own children quickly became photographing friends, then their friends, then families all over Southern California.
Sixteen years later, I've had the privilege of documenting thousands of families, opened studios in both California and Utah, and created artwork that's hanging in homes around the world.
Even after all these years, it still feels like an honor every time someone trusts me to preserve their family's story.
Ready when you are.
Whether you're planning ahead or your baby arrived yesterday, I'd love to help you create something beautiful.
